Community Safety

Traffic Calming, Safer Streets & School Zones

Speed boards, pedestrian crossings and safety bollards are already in place, with new speed cushions (humps) and raised crosswalks approved for installation in summer 2027.

Spaces For All to Enjoy

Investing in Parks, Trails & Recreation

Delivered: Mulock Park, Keith Davis Tennis Centre, Mulock Multi-Use Path, Improvements to Tom Taylor Trail and John F. Smith Trail, Cycling and Active Transportation, Upgrading Community Parks.

Moving Forward: A new pickleball facility, a new leash-free dog park, more trail connections, and continued investment in parks and recreation.

Environmental Stewardship

Protecting Green Space

Delivered: 80 acres of environmentally significant land protected in Shining Hill and 16 acres protected in Mulock Park.

Coming to Shining Hill: 1,000 energy-efficient homes including age-friendly and seniors-accessible options, a new leash-free dog park, 6 km of public trails, community gardens and 5,000 new trees.

Look For Your Voter Instruction Letter

If you’re eligible to vote in the 2026 election, you can vote online using an internet-connected computer, tablet or smartphone anytime from 10:00 a.m. on October 17 until 8:00 p.m. on October 26.

In late September, voters will receive their personalized Voter Instruction Letter in the mail. This letter will contain their Voting PIN (Personal Identification Number) along with the voting website to access the ballot. Scan the QR code using a smartphone or tablet, or enter the voting website provided in your letter into your web browser. Then, using your PIN and your birthdate, you’ll be able to access your online ballot and cast your votes from an internet-connected computer, tablet or smartphone.
