Earth Hour is more than an event, it is a movement. From its humble beginnings in 2007, WWF's Earth Hour has grown to become the worlds largest grassroots-led environmental movement for the planet, engaging more than 179 countries and territories worldwide.

his year marks the eleventh anniversary, a new milestone in its commitment to make the planet a better place for all, now and for future generations. Over the past eleven years, WW and Earth Hour teams worldwide have brought thousands of individuals together to help fund and support this environmental initiative to advance the goal for a sustainable, climate-friendly future.
