Seneca Cook Parkette & Jim Bond Park
As part of our commitment to building great communities, we have identified opportunities to provide park improvements at Seneca Cook Parkette and Jim Bond Park.
Seneca Cook Parkette is starting the week of September 18 2017. The Improvements will take approximately 4 – 6 weeks to complete. Jim Bond will only take about a week and will be complete by then end of September.
Seneca Cook Parkette enhancements:
- Replacement of existing play equipment and swing set,
- Playground surfacing will be engineered woodchip for accessibility needs
- New concrete pad for benches, bike rack, tri-waste container and picnic tables
- New asphalt walkways from throughout the park and ramp into the playground surfacing for accessibility needs
- New park signage with street address for 911 services
- Additional trees planted
- Please note that the walkway will be closed at times due to construction.
Please remember that while Seneca Cook Parkette is under service, disruptions may occur. There are alternate parks nearby, available for your enjoyment as follows:
- Clare Salisbury Parkette Access off of Clearmeadow Blvd.
- Whipper Watson Park Access off of Clearmeadow Blvd.
- George Luesby Park Access off of Clearmeadow Blvd.
- Joe Persechini Park Access off of McCaffrey Road

Jim Bond Park located at 160 Jordan Ray Blvd will receive some minor upgrades including...

- New asphalt walkways throughout
- New park signage with street address for 911 services
